By Air : The closest air terminal from Ziro is at Jorhat, Assam which is 98 kms away. Another air terminal is at Lilabari, which is a good ways off of 123 kms from Ziro. The closest worldwide air terminal of Ziro is at Guwahati a ways off of around 449 kms. 

By Rail : The railroad stations from Ziro are at Naharalagun (100 kms) and North Lakhimpur (117 kms). Ordinary Intercity train from Guwahati and once per week one train from New Delhi reach to Naharalagun. 

By Road: There is a night bus service available from Guwahati to Ziro. The transport, worked by the Arunachal Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation runs four days every week. Then again, one can make a trip to North Lakhimpur or Itanagar and take a mutual taxi to Ziro from that point.
