Aizawl Lake

Aizawl is the capital of the state of Mizoram in India.  it is the largest city in the state. Aizawl is 1,132 metres (3715 ft) above sea level, with the Tlawng river valley to its west and the Tuirial river valley to its east. This place is and is a religious and cultural centers of the Mizos. Aizawl is a beautiful place that offers plenty of tourist attractions to tourists and habitants alike. Various varieties of jungle products, monuments and memorials connected with legends and folklores are also available.

How to Reach :-

By Air :- Nearest airport is Aizawl, which is connected to Kolkata.

By Train :- Nearest railhead is Silchar which is in Assam ( 184 km away) from Aizawl.

By Road :- NH - 54 connects Aizawl with the rest of the country through Silchar. Buses and taxis are available from Silchar to Aizawl ( 6-8 hrs ). Aizawl is also accessible by road from Shillong and Guwahati.
