Havelock Island
is one of the largest and most popular islands in Andaman and Nicobar. Spread over a massive area of 113.93 square kilometres, it is situated 57 km north-east of the capital city Port Blair. Havelock Island is a paradise of silky white sand beaches, crystal blue water, rich corals and verdant forests. There is no dearth of beauty on this little island as the reputed and much-loved Radhanagar and Vijaynagar Beaches are also right on its southern shores. Havelock Island is also a favourite amongst those who want to engage in scuba diving, snorkelling, and deep sea diving.

Seduction Point, Aquarium, Lighthouse, Pilot Reef, Mac Point, Minerva Ledge and Turtle Bay. They are all promising areas for scuba diving.


How to Reach Havelock Island, Andaman and Nicobar, India:-


By Bus / Train:- There is no direct Bus/ Train to reach Havelock Island, Andaman and Nicobar.

By Water:- The best way to reach Havelock is by the air conditioned catamaran ferry, which takes only 90 minutes from Port Blair. There are government ferry services available as well which take about 2.5 hours. Do book your tickets in advance during peak season.

By Air:- You can first fly from New Delhi to Portblair and then  to Havelock from Port Blair in 20 minutes in a seaplane operated by Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited. The services are usually available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
