Panaji, Goa

Panaji (Pangim in English) is the capital of the Indian state of Goa and the headquarters of North Goa district. It lies on the banks of the Mandovi River. Known as one of the top tourist place while traveling in Goa. Panaji is one of India’s smallest state capital. Miramar,3 km west of Panaji, is the nearest beach to the capital.

How to Reach :-

By Air :- Goa International Airport at Dabolim near Vasco da Gama is the state’s only airport. This airport is well connected from major countries and cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai etc. From airport anyone can easily hire a taxi to travel in Panji and most places in Goa state.

By Train :-  The South Western Railway and the Konkan Railway lines service the state of Goa. Madgaon and Vasco Da Gama are two major railway junctions in Goa to reach Panaji.

By Road :- With the absence of a regular train service within the state, much of Goa depends upon privately-operated buses and government-run buses to travel from one place to another.The Kadamba Bus Terminal in Pato, 1 km east of the main square, is a busy bus junction with buses coming in from neighbouring Goan towns and long distance buses from Maharashtra and Karnataka.
